About Our Hospital
Kindred Hospital North Florida is an 80-bed transitional care hospital that offers a full range of acute care services for medically complex patients who require continued care and extended recovery time.
As a regional referral center, our hospital specializes in managing medically complex, resource-intensive patients who require extended lengths of stay. Our goal is to be recognized as a "Center of Excellence" in the treatment of this medically fragile patient group. Kindred Hospital North Florida serves all of northern Florida and southeastern Georgia.
As a fully accredited acute care hospital, Kindred Hospital North Florida delivers nearly all levels of care, including intensive care. While our reputation is rooted in the innovative management of ventilator-dependent individuals, all acutely ill patients are considered for admission regardless of their prognosis.
As part of a nationwide system of Kindred Hospitals we benefit from a synergy that provides consistent enhancements in quality, protocols and technologies. The end goal of these efforts is to create an environment that enables each patient to maximize his or her potential. Specialized services offered include pulmonary services, critical care, renal dialysis, cardiac telemetry, blood bank, laboratory, pharmacy, EKG, radiology, nutritional support, speech, physical and occupational therapy, surgery, wound care management and outpatient GI services and comprehensive outpatient ultrasound.
